Mangaluru : Young bike rider dies in road mishap near Derebail

Mangaluru, Jan 15, 2015: A speeding bike rider lost his life after he fell off his bike near the Mahakali Temple at Derebail on January 14, Thursday night.

 

 

 

 

The deceased youth has been identified as Shivaraj Shetty (21) of Maryhill. The accident took place when he was heading towards Kuntikan from Akashbhavan. As his bike neared Mahakali Temple, he lost control over his bike, fell  on to the road and died on the spot when his head hit against a  stone.

Sources said Shivaraj  was over speeding and was not wearing a helmet.

A case has been registered by Suratkal traffic police.
