Mangaluru : Under trials try to attack DAR personnel

Mangaluru, Oct 7,2016 :  In another untoward  in the District Prison in Mangaluru in the recent past, several under trials  allegedly attempted to attack the police personnel of the District Armed Reserve Police Force while the latter were escorting them to the prison after producing them before the court on October 7, Thursday.

The incident occrred as the prisoners reached the jail premises.

 When the DAR personnel tried to pacify two prisoners who were engaged in a verbal duel, the others who rushed to the spot, tried to attack the police personnel. The case is being investigated.
