Mangaluru : Two passengers hiding gold in rectum arrested at MIA

Mangaluru, Mar 11, 2019: Customs officials of Mangaluru International Airport have arrested two passengers who arrived by an Air India Express flight  from Dubai on Mach 11, Monday for smuggling gold in the form of paste and powder by concealing it in their rectum.

If gold weighing  458.48 grams valued at Rs 15.92 lakhs was seized from one passenger, gold valued at Rs 11 lakh and weighing 335.47 grams was seized from another passenger.
