Mangaluru : Two more persons succumb to Covid-19 in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, July 01, 2020:    Coronavirus has claimed two more lives in Dakshina Kannada district on July 1,  Wednesday. A 31 year old man from Bhatkal and a 78 year old man from Bengre, both under treatment at a private hospital have succumbed to the infection.

 

 The 78 year old man was reportedly suffering from pneumonia and diabetes while the 31 year old man was suffering from high blood pressure. The Bhatkal man’s throat swab was collected after his death and it turned out to be positive for Covid-19.

With today’s two deaths,  Covid-19 has claimed a total of 16 lives in Dakshina Kannada district so far.
