Mangaluru: Two injured as compound wall collapses near Moodushedde

Mangaluru: July 10, 2015: Two persons were severely injured after a compound wall fell on them near Shivanagar in Modushadde on Thursday.

 

 

The two injured were admitted to A J hospital in Mangaluru. They have been identified as Arun (35) Lokayya Poojary (55).

According to the sources, Lokayya had come to his son-in-law Shiva Reddy’s house to meet his daughter Jayashree.  While Lokayya was sitting outside and having conversation with Arun, a wall collapsed upon them.

 

A bike was also damaged in the incident.

 

Grama Panchayat president Hariprasad along with Village accountant Prakash visited the spot.

 

The loss has been estimated at Rs. 3 Lakh.
