Mangaluru : Tulu movie “Oriyan Thoonda Oriyagaapuji” released

Mangaluru, May 15, 2015: Latest Tulu movie “Oriyan Thoonda  Oriyagaapuji” brought out under the banner of Mangala Ganesh Combines was released at a formal ceremony held at Central Theatre  here on May 15, Friday. Mangaladevi Temple Trustee Ramanath Hegde  lighted the traditional lamp marking the inaugural of the function.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He also wished success to the new film and hoped it would win admiration from people of the district.

Ha. Soo. Rajashekhar, Director of the Film also spoke and requested the Tulu movie fans to support the film and contribute to its success.

Anand K, Associate Vice President of Udayavani  who was present a chief guest, said it was a good sign to see many new Tulu movies being made in the  recent times.

Apart from Central Theatre, the movie is being screened at Big Cinemas, Cine Polis and PVR Cinema in Mangaluru and at Ashirvad Theatre in Udupi. The film makers have plans to release the movie in theatres in BC Road, Puttur, Belthangady, Kasargod, Moodbidri, Bengaluru, Mumbai and also in Gulf nations very soon.

The story, screen play and music is by G Gangadhar Shetty Alake who is also the co-producer of the film along with B Ashok Kumar. Arjun Kapikad and Prajwal Poovayya are in the lead roles while the other star cast include Rekha Das, Bhavya and Mitra apart from famed Tulu theatre personalities  like Chintan Rai Maani, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sunder Rai Mandara, Saikrishna Alake, Lokesh Barke and others.

 Stunts and action are by Thriller Manju, while V Manohar is the music director. Singers Ajay Warrior, Anuradha Bhat, Hemanth and Rajesh Krishnan have lent voice to the film songs.

The film team was present at the launching ceremony.
