Mangaluru: Trade Union bodies take out rally as part of National Protest Day

Mangaluru, Dec 05, 2014: Following the call given by All Central Trade Unions and BMS  to observe a national protest day, trade unions in Mangalore took out a protest rally on December 5, Friday  to condemn the anti-people and anti-workers policies of labour law amendment, FDI and disinvestment announced by the NDA Government. The rally which commenced from near the Town Hall concluded near the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

 

 

Various Trade Unions including INTUC, AITUC, CITU , BMS, HMS as well as Employees Unions of Banks, Insurance companies, BSNL as well as Union and State Government employees Associations participated in the protest.
