Mangaluru : Students form human chain to display 305 meter long National Flag

Mangaluru, Aug 15, 2015: The 305 meter long national tri-colour displayed in all splendor by  as many as 1000 students   of educational institutions managed by Saraswat Education Society  was the cynosure of all eyes during the 69th Independence Day celebration in  Mangaluru on Saturday. The students formed a human chain right from near Ganapathi High School to Hampankatta Circle  to display the  tri-colour.

 

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner  AB Ibrahim  unfurled the  national flag and handed it over to the students. Mahesh  L Bondal, Secretary of the Saraswat Education Society, MS Ramachandra Rao, Executive Officer, teachers and staff were present and encourage the students.
