Mangaluru : Special Olympics medallists from Karnataka honoured

Mangaluru, July 15,2017 :  Six sports persons from  Karnataka including three from Mangaluru who won a total of 11 medals including five gold at the Special Olympics National Power lifting event at Kolhapur in Maharashtra were felicitated at a function held at Circuit House.

The outstanding Special Power lifters Abhilash, Prajwal Lobo, Asley D’Souza from Mangaluru, Sushanth  Bose, Veena from Ballary and Kannika from Bengaluru  were honoured by  State Minister for  Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader and Mangaluru Mayor Kavitha Sanil.
