Mangaluru, Apr 23, 2018: JR Lobo, the sitting MLA and Congress candidate from Mangaluru South Constituency visited religious shrines of diverse faiths on April 23, Monday as a prelude to filing his nomination.
He began his day by visiting Shree Manjunatheshwara Temple, Kadri, CSI Shanti Church, Balmatta, Shree Suryanarayana Temple, Maroli, Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte, Mangaladevi Temple and Zeenath Baksh Central Juma Masjid. He also attended mass at St Sebastian Church, Bendore and offered prayer in the presence of parish priest Fr Anthony.
Thereafter, he met bishop of Mangaluru diocese Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, who wished him good luck. Lobo visited Sri Venkatramana Temple, Car Street and Shree Gokarnanatheshwara Temple, Kudroli before filing the nomination.
