Mangaluru: Sonia Gandhi’s birthday celebrated

Mangaluru, Dec 10, 2019:   Senior Congress leader and former Union minister B Janardhana Poojary visited Prashanth Nivas in Jeppu Seminary, Antony Ashrama in Jeppu, Abhyashrama in Konaje, Saanidhya Residential School and Training Centre for the Mentally Challenged in Shakthinagara, Yathimkhana in Bunder and celebrated the birthday of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He recollected that Sonia Gandhi had urged senior party workers not to celebrate her birthday at a time when there was a spurt in atrocities against women across the country. “Women are children of God. Atrocities should not be committed against them. I am celebrating Sonia Gandhi’s birthday by flouting the order issued by her. If anyone wishes to remove me from the party, let them do so,” Poojary challenged.
