Mangaluru, April 5, 2015: Sri Siddalinga Swamiji, State Working President of the Sri Rama Sene has threatened  that the Sene will launch a state wide agitation if the government fails to  take immediate action against rationalist KS Bhagavan  for his offensive comments against  Lord Shree Ramachandra.’

Speaking to reporters here on April 4, Saturday,  Siddalinga Swamiji said Bhagavan’s statement has hurt the religious sentiments of  Hindus. “ The  government which had arrested senior writer Chidananda Murthi for  opposing the Devara Dasimayya Jayanthi celebrations however  has not taken any action against Bhagavan,” Siddalinga Swamiji alleged and added that this revealed the double standards of the government

He said the Sri Rama Sene will launch its agitation by gheraoing all the District in-charge Ministers demanding immediate of Bhagavan. He said the movement will begin by first gheraoing the DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai.

He further demanded the release of Sadhwi Prajna Singh who was battling cancer inside the prison. He said an appeal would be made to the President, Prime Minister and Maharashtra Chief Minister through a one crore e letter movement.

Praveen Valke, State Secretary of Sri Rama Sene, Anand Shetty Adyar, Jeevan Neermarga and other Hindu leaders were present.
