Mangaluru : SKSSF silver jubilee celebrations conclude

Mangaluru, Jan 12, 2015: The silver jubilee celebrations of the South Kanara Sunni Students Federation (SKSSF)  concluded at a function held at the Nehru Maidan here on January 11, Sunday. A rally was also taken out form Ambedkar Circle to the programme venue as part of the event. The ceremony was inaugurated by Mushavar Shaikuna Sayyed Mohammad Muttukoya, Treasurer of the Central Committee of SSF.

 

 

Former mayor K Ashraf who addressed the gathering spoke about the activities of the SSF. Ashraf was felicitated on the occasion for his yeoman services to the community.

A newly constructed house  on behalf of the SKSSF at a cost of Rs 3 lakh at Kukkurabettu was handed over to a beneficiary family.

Several dignitaries including Ramanatha Rai, DK District in-charge minister, Ivan D’Souza, MLC,  Vijay Kumar Shetty, former MLA, Ibrahim Kodijal, Interim President of District Congress, VK Aboobakker Musliyar and others graced the ceremony.
