Mangaluru: SDM College student ends life

 Mangaluru, Sep 11,2017:  A student of SDM  College of Business Management here has ended his  life at his residence at  R B Layout, Attavar on September 11, Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Abhishek(18), a first year  student of Business Administration. He was the son of  Chidananda H who works in the Gulf and Ashalatha, a housewife.

  It is learnt that Abhishek was  as usual this morning and had taken his mother to the bank  and had even dropped her back home. Later, he reportedly locked his room from inside and hanged himself.

He was one among the three children of his parents.  His elder brother studies in a college in Mangaluru while sister was studying in Bengaluru. Sources said Abhishek’s father had planned to take him to the Gulf in the near future.

The exact reason behind his suicide is not known.

Investigations are underway.
