Mangaluru : Rowdy sheeter hacked to death by rival gang in Thokkottu

Mangaluru, Oct 26, 2015: A youth from Bolar in Mangaluru was  brutally killed by a gang of assailants  at Thokkottu on October 25, Sunday night. The deceased Vikram alias Vicky Bolar (28) is said to be a rowdy sheeter.

It is believed that he was killed by his rival gang led by Ravichandra Poojary alias Psycho Vicky.

 

 

Sources revealed that the rival gang members were present for the Mehendi function of one Rohit of Kumpala, said to be a friend of Vicky Bolar. Vicky had attended the function with his two friends.

It is learnt, during the function, the rival groups clashed  forcing Vicky  flee the place along with his friend  Abhishek Shetty in  a bike.

But the rival gang chased the duo in their Scorpio vehicle.

Though the cops who were patrolling near Kumpala bypass saw the bike being chased by the Scorpio and had immediately passed on the information to the PCR, by the time the cops could arrive, the  assailants had rammed the Scorpio against the bike of Vicky and had hacked Vicky to death. Meanwhile, Abhishek had reportedly managed to  escape the attack.
