Mangaluru : Ranjith murder case : Prime accused Dhanu nabbed

Mangaluru, June 06, 2015: Police who are investigating into the Ranjith  murder case happened near the Mangaluru Taluk Panchayat Office on June 3 have arrested  Dhanu who was said to have stabbed the Ullal Mogaveerapatna youth to death.

Police sources said Dhanu is being interrogated.  It has also been gathered that he was Ranjith’s close friend. Meanwhile, police have gathered information that  two others  are also involved in the murder. The police are on the look out for them.

It may be recalled here that 21 year old Ranjith who did fabrication work was almost chased and stabbed  with a sharp object  reportedly by Dhanu inflicting him with serious injuries near his right armpit and left side of the back. Ranjith had  tried to escape had later collapsed near a canteen near the Taluk Office. A person who was present there had questioned Ranjith about the killer and had recorded the same in his cell phone. The police had later taken possession of the footage.
