Mangaluru: Rai declares Nanthoor - Mallikatta road open.

Mangaluru, April 18, 2016: District in-charge Minister, Ramanath Rai declares open the newly concretised Nanthoor – Mallikatta Road today, April 18, 2016. The 350 meters wide road from  Nanthoor circle to Mallikatta was concreted at a cost of Rs 285 lacs within short time.

 

Addressing the public after the ribbon cutting Ramanath Rai said that this road is very vital connecting the city and suburbs. The concretization was undertaken with funds from the CM’s development works funds of Rs 100 crore. The next project on the anvil is the road from Nanthoor to Nandigudda, he said.

J R Lobo, MLA appreciated the efforts by the Mayor, MCC commissioner and engineers for for the timely completion of the project. He also spoke about the model road from Nanthoor to Nandigudda and Kankanady to Nandigudda which is in progress.

Mayor Harinath, Corporator Naveen D’souza, Ashok D K, Asha D’Silva, Sabitha Misquith, MCC commissioner Gopalkrishna were among others present.
