Mangaluru: RSS organises Vijayadashami route march

Mangaluru, Nov 6, 2016: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organised its Vijayadashami Patha Sanchalan or route march in the city on November 6, Sunday morning with hundreds of RSS volunteers participating in the procession. This is the first time that the RSS volunteers were seen sporting their new uniform - white shirt as usual and brown trousers instead of the earlier Khaki shorts during a route march.

 

Over 1000 RSS members participated in the route march along with P Vaman Shenoy,  Co-Convenor of local Pranthya, Dr Satish Rao, Mangaluru Mahanagara Sangha Sanchalak and  Sunil Acharya, Saha Sangha Chalak. Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLC and Monappa Bhandari, former MLC also took part in the route march.

The route march was flagged off from Nehru Maidan and culminated at the same place after passing through Nellikai Road, Carstreet, Sharavu Temple Road and Ganapathi High School Road.
