Mangaluru : Protest against entry of women to Sabarimala shrine

Mangaluru, Jan 03, 2019: The Pinarayi Vijayan led Kerala Government came under sharp criticism from speakers at a protest held at Gandhi Park near Town Hall here on January 3, Thursday, for allowing two women devotees below the age of 50 to visit the Sabarimala shrine. The protest was organised by the Sri Kshetra Sabarimala Samrakshana Samithi.

ZP Vice President Kasturi Panja who addressed the protestors,   slammed Kerala CM for calling the entry of two women to the shrine as a victory. She also predicted a downfall of the Kerala government in the coming days.

District President of Hindu Jagarana Vedike  Kishore who also spoke said the entry of the two women to the shrine has hurt the sentiments of the Hindus.

VHP  leader Sharan Pumpwell and others also spoke on the occasion.
