Mangaluru: Prostitution racket busted, four persons detained in connection

Mangaluru June 10, 2016: In connection with prostutiton rackets two lodges raided by Mangaluru North police on June09 Thursday, arrest four persons.

Lakshmikanth, Manager of Maithri Lodge and Nagappayya(40), a resident of Trasi was arrested in first raid. The raid took place at Maithri lodge ,Nehru Midan first cross at 9 am. The police team was led by Mangaluru North PSI Shamnataram, ASI Shobha , Head constables Pusparani and Constables Reshma and Mohan.

In second raid Shivanand(45), a resident of Calicut ,  Madhav (31), a resident of Puttur was arrested .

The second raid took place  at Karuna Lodge in old kent road Pandeshwar at around 12.30 pm. The police team was led by Mangaluru North police PSI Shantharam along with Inspector Mohammed Sheriff,Anantha Murudeshwar and others. The police seizes Rs 1,350 from arrested persons

The arrested persons in the case have been presented to court and sent to judicial custody

The investigation is going on regarding the case in Mangluru North police staion.
