Siddarth Goel, Assistant Police Commissioner and Special Executive Magistrate, has declared a prohibition zone extending 200 meters around each examination center.

This measure aims to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the examinations, mitigating any potential for illegal or untoward activities.

Activities such as aiding examination malpractices, distributing answers via chits or other means, or carrying out the exchange of such materials are strictly prohibited. Additionally, the possession of acids, explosives, or weapons within these areas is forbidden. Any actions indicating engagement in examination-related misconduct are also barred.

Furthermore, gatherings of more than five individuals, excluding examination candidates, within the prohibited area are prohibited.

Xerox shops within a 200-meter radius of examination centers are not permitted to operate one hour before the start of the examination until its conclusion.

Siddarth Goel emphasized in a press release that the use of mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, pagers, and other electronic communication equipment is strictly prohibited within the premises of the examination centers.
