Mangaluru : Private bus operators to hold vital meet today on resuming services

Mangaluru, May 27, 2020:   Private service and city bus operators are expected to hold a meeting here on Wednesday to  take a decision on resuming  bus services in Dakshina Kannada which have remained suspended since the last week of March following imposition of lockdown to contain the spread of Covid-19.

 

The bus operators are willing to resume services from June 1 but  the only hindrance is the failure of the district administration to come out with guidelines for resumption of services.

Meanwhile, KSRTC has been operating a few JNNURM buses. As many as seven buses operated on Suratkal, Vamanjoor, Bajpe and Mudipu route. The buses had starting point from State Bank and Bejai.
