Mangaluru: Poojary Slams Sadananda Gowda regarding Yettinahole

Mangaluru Mar 23, 2016: Senior Congress Leader Janardhana Poojary slams union law minister DV Sadananda Gowda regard to Yettinahole project stated that if project were to be implemented, it would result decrease in the rainfall in the coastal region.

Addressing to the press at Congress office today Mar 23, he said that DV Sadananda Gowda and Veerappa Moily had approved the Yettinahole project without making study of the report submitted by the union ministry of environment and forests.

As per the report, if project is implemented there will adverse effect on the climatic condition like decrease in rainfall by 15 percent which clearly shows that former CM’s have not undergone study on the report, he said.

Poojary criticized Siddarammaih on ACB issue, why is so adamant about ACB? he should withdraw it. Chief Minister had demanded BJP to convert CBI in to autonomous body and to enforce lokpal bill at the centre, as your demand was right, but you need to be role model to the central government and pretending like Modi, you strongly stood against corruption and came to power in the state and you need to withdraw ACB, Poojary requested Siddarammaih.

Speaking about temple invitation row he said that, in the state temple rules are against the law, god will not run away from the temple if DC goes to the temple
