Mangaluru Police Firing : Notices to Police Commissioner, DCP to appear for hearing

Mangaluru, March 04, 2020:  The Magisterial Enquiry into the Mangaluru police firing and  violence  that took place on December 19  last year, was held at the AC office court on March 4, Wednesday.  Udupi Deputy Commissioner  Jagadish is the Investigation Officer of this magisterial probe.

 

A total of 176 witnesses deposed before the investigation officer. Those who appeared included 29 cops. The  investigation officer has issued notices to City Police Commissioner Dr P S Harsha to appear for the hearing on March 12, while DCP Arunamshugiri has been asked to appear on March 9.
