Mangaluru : POCSO accused attacked by fellow prisoners

Mangaluru, Mar 07, 2019: A  prisoner who was arrested  in a POCSO case was assaulted by fellow under trials at the District Jail here on March 7, Thursday morning.

The  assault victim prisoner has been admitted to Wenlock Hospital.

It is said fellow prisoners all of a sudden began attacking him on Thursday morning leaving him seriously injured. The reason behind the assault is not known.

It has been gathered that the victim was earlier arrested in the Mangaluru North Police Station limits.
