Speaking to reporters here on June 27, Saturday, Siddaramaiah  said such moves are not  acceptable and questioned which leader was behind the registering of a ‘murder complaint against the Chief Minister.

Poojary was all praise for the CM and  claimed that he had initiated several welfare programmes for farmers  including irrigation projects, Rs  4 milk subsidy, free rice to the poor, rice at concessional prices for APL card holders and waiver of loans to the tune of Rs 22,000 crores.

On the No.1 MP tag given to Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Poojary said full utilisation of the grant provided by the government was not a big deal. The MP must be a voice to the problems of the people in the Parliament, he said.

He also demanded the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj as well as Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje in the Lalit Modi case.  He further  questioned why the Prime  Minister was not keen on sacking Sushma.

Poojari was also critical of international Yoga Day and questioned the need to go in for a world record.

Poojary however refused to comment on the MCC Commissioner transfer issue. “I will speak about it some other day,” he said.
