Mangaluru, July 21, 2015:  Thirteen year old Chaitra, a student of Capitanio High School who was reported missing since July 20, Monday evening has been traced at Mallikatta area.

missing Chaitra was spotted asking for job with some residents in the area after knocking at their doors. It is learnt she told locals that she hailed from Bagalkot and was an orphan. Meanwhile, one of the residents  who grew suspicious informed the authorities concerned.

The girl was then taken by CWC officials to the Bala Samrakshana Mandir at Bondel. However, until then none of them had a cue that she was the girl who was reported missing from Nagori as she had told that her parents were dead while the fact is that they also hailed from Bagalkot.

Later, it was confirmed that she was the missing girl Chaitra.  The girl who is in the custody of CWC at present, will be handed over to the police who will then be entrusted to the care of her parents.

The CWC officials have gathered that  the girl had quarreled with  her  sister who, in a fit of anger had  asked her to leave home.
