Mangaluru : Minor girl reportedly abducted ; complaint lodged

Mangaluru, Feb 17 2020:  A complaint has been lodged at Kavoor Police station alleging that a minor girl, aged 16 has been  abducted  from Jappinaguttu in Kunjathbail on February 14.

 

The girl’s father  has accused a person named Parashuram (26) of taking her away as soon as she returned from school  and changed her uniform on the evening of February  14. 

It is said   people in the area had seen the accused along with the girl. A complaint was lodged on Sunday after a frantic search for the girl proved futile.

The  girl’s family as well as the accused Parashuram alias Parashu are of North Karnataka origin and are working as labourers.
