Mangaluru : ’Mayor Cup 2016’ volleyball tourney inaugurated

Mangaluru, Oct 17,2016 : Mayor  Harinath inaugurated ’Mayor Cup 2016’ Volleyball tournament organised at the Volleyball Court  of Mangala Stadium on October 16, Sunday under the joint aegis of DK Volleyball Association and Mangaluru Volleyball Association.

 

 

Pradeep D’Souza, Deputy Director of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports  who is also a national level volleyball player was honoured during the inaugural function.

JR Lobo, MLA of Mangaluru South  presided over the function and stressed the need to encourage volleyball players.

Suresh Babu, President of DK Volleyball Association, Jayaprakash, Secretary, Mohammad Mustafa, Treasurer, Jayanthi Achar, Corporator and others were present.
