Mangaluru : Maharashtra returnee, Shirlalu woman test positive for Covid-19

Mangaluru, May 23, 2020:  The  Coronavirus cases in Dakshina Kannada have increased to 65 with two more testing positive on May 23, Saturday.  One of them is a 30 year old man who had returned from Maharashtra and was under quarantine.  He had undertaken Covid-19 test at a private lab.

 A 41 year old woman from  Shirlalu in Belthangady  has tested positive for Covid-19. She has been admitted to Wenlock Covid-19 Hospital.  It is learnt the woman underwent the test after people of her locality on noticing her flu like symptoms had urged her to undergo the test. There is a possibility of the administration  declaring Shirlalu a containment zone.
