Mangaluru: MLA JR Lobo distributes cheques worth Rs 6.83 lakh from CM’s Relief Fund

Mangaluru, July 02, 2015:  Mangaluru South MLA JR Lobo distributed cheques worth Rs 6.83 lakhs towards medical aid of nine persons  from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, by visiting the houses of the beneficiaries.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The beneficiaries are Ashraf Ali Panjath  of Kulshekhar (Rs 2 lakhs), Mohan of Jeppu (Rs 1.5 lakhs), Edolph Saldanha of Kadri Shivabagh (Rs 1 lakh), Raghuram Suvarna of Jeppinamogaru (Rs 80,000), Keshava of Shaktinagar (Rs 50,000), Celes Benedict Menezes of Nagori (Rs 30,000), Kamalakshi of Bengre (Rs 30,000) , Mohammad Ali of Kasaba Bengre (Rs 25000) and Mohammad Bilal (Rs 18,000).

During the visit to the houses of the beneficiaries, the MLA also enquired about their health.

Corporators Sabitha Misquith, Praveenchandra Alva, Kavitha Vasu, Congress leaders Nagendra Kumar, TK Sudhir, Namitha D Rao, Dennis D’Silva, Herbert D’Souza, Ramanand Poojary, M Farooq, Asif Bengre, Sunil Shetty and others were present.
