Mangaluru: Legal Literacy Chariot, Mobile Court flagged off

Mangaluru, May 28, 2018: A Legal Literacy Chariot and  Mobile Janatha Court was flagged off at the  District Court premises on May 28, Monday  by  District and Sessions Judge and District Legal Services Authority Chairman K S Beelagi.

 

Speaking on the occasion, he said everyone must have legal knowledge as law was an integral part of man’s life. Additional DC Vaishali, DCP Uma Prashanth and Mangaluru Bar Association President M R Ballal also spoke as chief guests.

Assistant Labour Commissioner K B Nagaraj, District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr M Ramakrishna Rao, DDPI Y Shivaramayya, Deputy Director  of PU Education Department Nagarajappa and others were present.

The  event was held under the joint aegis of District Legal Services Authority, Zilla Panchayat, Police Department, Bar Association, SDM Law College and Departments of Labour, Education, Women and Child Development, Health and Family Welfare and  Information and Publicity.
