Mangaluru: Kannada movie ’Kanasu Kannu Theredaga’ in city from July 24

Mangaluru, July 22, 2015: As per reports,  Kannada film, ’Kanasu Kannu Theredaga’, shot completely in Mangaluru by a team of artists from the coastal districts, will be released in the state on July 24.

The film produced by Ganasiri Creations and Manikya Combines under the banner of Imagination Movies will be distributed through Reliance Entertainment. While Santhosh Shetty Kateel has written story and script, Yashsavanth Udupi has composed music. Other crew members include Nagesh Puttur (assistant director), Pradeep Roy (art direction), Sachin S Shetty (cinematography), Razak Puttur (dialogue), Nithin Kumar (background music), Gopi Vision (lighting) and Raviraj (editing). Dubbing of the film was done at Balaji Digi Studio, Shetty said adding that the film will be screened in 40 theatres including multiplexes across the state in the first phase.

Co-producer of the movie, Thammanna Shetty, said the film is not only an entertainment, but also creates awareness on cleanliness, child rights and significance of education. The film co-produced by Ganasiri Kirankumar Puttur is directed by Santhosh Shetty Kateel, who has worked for several Hindi movies. The film has 12 children from Mangaluru  portraying the discrimination in our education system and it explains how poor kids are sidelined. In addition, the storyline of the film also enthralls audience with the cleanliness revolution children create and opens a chapter on child labour.  The film has been awaited eagerly in Mangaluru.
