Mangaluru: Kana youth assaulted in Kulai

Mangaluru, Feb 20, 2016: A 22-year-old youth of Kana near Surathkal was allegedly attacked with a sword near Kulai mosque on Friday, February 19.  

The victim is identified as Ansar, a resident of Kana.  According to the Surathkal police, Ansar and his brother were going on a motorcycle.

Three members, who are known to Ansar, waylaid them and then rained him blows on Ansar.   Ansar’s brother managed to flee from the spot.  The injured Ansar was admitted to a local hospital.

The police have launched a search for the three assailants, further news is awaited.
