Mangaluru : KSHEMA, KSRP jointly organise Diabetes Walk

Mangaluru, Nov 15, 2019: A  Diabetes Walk organised on November 14, Thursday as part of World Diabetes Day was inaugurated by Nitte (Deemed-to-be) University Chancellor Dr N Vinay Hegde at the  Police Parade Ground, Asaigoli. The walk was held from Parade Ground to K S Hegde Academy premises Derlakatte. The event was organised by the Nutrition and Diabetes Department, Public Heath Department of K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, World Diabetes Foundation and 2nd Battalion of Karnataka State Reserve Police Force.

Karnataka Reserve  Police Force Commandant Janardhan    and  Nitte University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. M S Moodittaya who were present as chief guests, stressed on the need to create awareness on Diabetes.

Nitte University Vice Chancellor Dr Satish Bhandary, KSRP Commandants  Sharath Kumar, Hemakumar, Mahadeva Swami, Raju, KS  Hegde Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Shivakumar Hiremutt and others were present.
