Mangaluru: Jana Nudi literary event inaugurated

Mangaluru, Dec 13, 2014: “The Constitution is the national scripture for our country where each religion has its own religious scripture. I cannot help but laugh to know the foolishness on the part of those who are conspiring to change India’s national scripture,” said Sri Veerabhadra Chennamalla Swamiji of Nidumamidi Mahasamsthan Mutt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He was speaking at a literary event ‘Jana Nudi’ organized by Abhimatha Mangaluru at Shanthi Kiran at Nantur on December 13, Saturday.

Taking a dig at the Ram Mandir issue, the seer said “There is no doubt that Lord Ram lived in Ayodhya. But what is needed now is to find the Ram in ourselves and not elsewhere.”

 Dr Mallika Ghante presided over the function. Mavalli Shanker,DSS leader and eminent writer Saara Aboobakker were among those present.
