Mangaluru: Jackfruit Expo at Pilikula Nisargadhama on July 16th and 17th

Mangaluru, July 5, 2016: Agriculture Science Centre, Horticulture, Agriculture Department  and Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath will jointly organize two day Jackfruit Expo at Pilikula Urban Hyaat on July 16th and July 17th, informed Prabhar Sharma President of Pilikula Nisargadhama.

 

Addressing to the press meet at DC office today Tuesday, he said that nearly 50 exhibiters and expected to participate in the expo and this expo will have exhibition cum sale of fruits, products and products made out of Jackfruits, there will also be the sale of grafted jackfruits and other plants.

Meanwhile Jafi (Jackfruit Coffee) will also be inaugurated and there will get a chance of interacting with the farmers with spot consultancy on agriculture and other allied activities, said Prabhakar Sharma.

Jackfruits such as Gumless Jack, Mattum Jack, All season Sadanand, Barika, Tuluva, Rudraksh and other variety of Jackfruits will be exhibited in this expo and products of Jackfruit will kept for sale, he added.
