Mangaluru: JR Lobo visits victim of Attavar immoral policing; assures stern action against culprits

Mangaluru, Aug 26, 2015: Mangaluru South MLA JR Lobo  met the youth who was injured in the immoral policing incident that took place at Attavar recently, at the hospital where he is undergoing  treatment and enquired about his health on August 25, Tuesday.

 

 

The MLA also informed on the occasion that he has instructed the police to initiate stern action against those who have taken up law into their hands.

Lobo said such incidents which  not only defamed the city of Mangaluru but also disturbed the peace and harmony should be condemned  strongly. He further stated that some  anti-social elements were resorting to such misdeeds to tarnish the image of the city known for its intelligent populace.

He also informed he media men present on the occasion that stern legal action would follow against the perpetrators of such incidents irrespective of the religion to which they belong to.
