Mangaluru : J R Lobo, Moidin Bava file nomination

Mangaluru, Apr 23, 2018: Mangaluru South Constituency Congress candidate J R Lobo filed his nomination on April 23, Monday.  Lobo arrived by a procession from the Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Shrine.  Several party officer bearers and workers were present on the occasion.

 

Speaking to reporters thereafter, Lobo said, "I submitted my nomination papers at 11.20 am. Before that, I visited various religious places of my constituency and prayed for peace, communal harmony and prosperity of my city.

"This election will play a special role in the future of our youths. They will decide our victory and defeat. I hope they are all with me in building a better future," he said.

"I am confident of my victory in the election. I am sure the people of my city will vote for development. I am happy about my performance in my five years as MLA. People too have appreciated my work and blessed me. I have succeeded in building and maintaining a good rapport with people of all communities in my constituency."

 

 

Mangaluru North Constituency Congress candidate B A Moidin Bava also filed his nomination on Monday. Bava arrived at the office of the Electoral Officer located at  MCC building at Lalbagh by riding a  cycle from Ladyhill  along with his supporters and party workers.
