Mangaluru : It’s Back to School today

Mangaluru, June 01, 15: It’s back to school today for children after a two-month long fun-filled summer vacation. It was indeed a sight to watch kids and young children walking towards their schools neatly dressed in their uniforms.  All private and aided schools re-opened on June 1, Monday for the academic year 2015-2016. Though schools were scheduled to re-open on May 30, the same  was postponed due to the Gram Panchayat elections.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 If there was some sort of anxiety  on the faces of new entrants, the kids who will be attending LKG classes for the first time, the older ones were seen cheerfully chatting with their friends and classmates on way to school, some by foot and many others in their school vans, buses and autorickshaws.

Most schools conducted half day classes today.
