Mangaluru International Airport posts net profit of Rs. 546.86 lakh in 2015-16.

Mangaluru, June 30, 2016: A media release reports that the MIA, Mangaluru International Airport recorded a net profit of Rs. 546.86 lakh during the financial year 2015-16.

 

The total revenue realised at the airport during the year was Rs. 8562.02 lakh while it was Rs. 6748.53 lakh during the previous fiscal, said MIA director J.T. Radhakrishna.

The net profit of Rs. 546.86 lakh is after the deduction of depreciation and bad and doubtful debts. The increased revenue is mainly due to increase in the number for passengers from 13.07 lakh in 2014-15 to 16.75 lakh during 2015-16, he said.
