In Udupi: Rohan Siri, the Aam Aadmi Party Udupi district leader, said that Arvind Kejriwal has emerged as the leader of the new revolutionary politics in India.

"This was following the 2011-12 Anti Corruption Movement, in which he accepted a challenge to him and formed the Aam Aadmi Party which became a beacon of hope for ordinary people," reminisced Siri.

Speaking to the media, Siri said that Arvind Kejriwal managed to win an unprecedented 67 of the 70 seats contested in Delhi and went on to become the Chief Minister.

Siri said that revolutionising the fields of education and Health, AAP government headed by Kejriwal has gained huge support from people all over the country. This has earned him a tag of "People’s CM" and has made him a leader of common man all across the nation.

Siri said that Kejriwal is striving to provide an honest alternative in politics to the common man apart from the traditionally corrupt politics of BJP, Congress and other regional parties.

AAP is all set to contest elections in Punjab and Goa in 2017 and in Karnataka in 2018 without resorting to religion, caste or money power. AAP would also contest the local bodies’ polls in the next elections, Siri added.
