Mangaluru : Huge quantity of sand seized at Valachil in midnight raid

Mangaluru, Sep 21, 2018: A team of officials led by Mangaluru Assistant Commissioner raided a government land at Adyarpadavu in Valachil on Thursday midnight and seized huge quantity of sand which was unauthorisedly stocked in the area.

The authorities seized goods amounting to Rs 10 lakhs including 150 lorry loads of sand, eight engines used for sand extraction and five gas cylinders.
