Mangaluru : Honest traffic cop returns cash found on road ; rewarded

Mangaluru Aug 30, 2016: A Traffic policeman named Suresh has won accolades for his  honesty by returning a cash of nearly Rs 23,000 which was found on the road, to its rightful owner.

 

Kishan Kumar, a sales representative of Coca Cola Company was on his way to deposit money. However, before he reached Lalbagh, the cash somehow slipped off his pocket. Suresh who found the cash lying on the road, picked it up and handed it over to Bunder Police Station.

Next day Kishan Kumar who read a news in this regard in a local daily, rushed to the Bunder Police Station to collect his lost cash of Rs 23,250.

City Police Commissioner M Chandrashekar  who has appreciated the honesty of Suresh has presented him with a cash reward of Rs 1000.
