Mangaluru : Heavy rains resulting water logging at several areas

Mangaluru, Aug 26, 2019: Heavy rains that lashed the city today resulted in artificial floods  at several places. In Kottara Chowki area was literally inundated. Water logging resulted in rain water gushing into several shops in the area. Vehicular movement was also greatly affected.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Locals point out that the  failure to desilt the Rajakaluves in the area has led to this problem. There have been reports of flooding even in Sultan Bathery area and  in Matadakani.
