Mangaluru : Govt employees sports meet inaugurated

Mangaluru, Dec 05, 2018: The Dakshina Kannada district level Government Employees Sports meet and Cultural Competition  2018-19 was inaugurated  by Mulki-Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian at Mangala Stadium on December 5, Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

In his address, Kotian said the event provided a good opportunity to government employees to exhibit  their  talents in the sports and cultural fields.

Additional DC Kumar who spoke as a chief guest  deplored the reducing number of participants in such events.

Sports achievers Jayakeerthi Jain, Jayappa Lamani and Vincent Carlo were honoured.

ZP Vice President Kasturi Panja,  Government Employees Association President Prashanth Nayak, Deputy Director of District Youth Empowerment and Sports Department Pradeep D’Souza and others were present.
