Mangaluru : Gold, cigarettes smuggled from Dubai seized at MIA

Mangaluru, Nov 05 2019: Gold and cigarettes worth several lakhs of rupees which  smuggled from Dubai were seized from two passengers in two separate cases at the Mangaluru International Airport.

 

 

Gold worth Rs 9.65 lakhs and  weighing 252.98 grams which was hidden in the form of tiny chunks in toys  were seized from a a passenger who arrived by an Air India Express flight from Dubai.

In another case,  cigarettes of different brands worth Rs 6.23 lakh were seized from a passenger who arrived by a Spice Jet flight.
