Mangaluru : Go Samrakshana Abhiyan concludes

Mangaluru, Dec 01, 2014:  The Go Samrakshana Abhiyan  organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishat Seva Prakalpa and  Govanithaya Trust-Gopremi Vedike, Mangaluru  with the objective of rearing  hundreds of cattle  of Pajir-Beejaguri, concluded  at the Sharavu Temple premises here on November 29, Sunday.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Sri Vishwa Priya Theertha Swamiji of Admar Mutt, urged people to rear at least one cow in their homes.  “Rearing a cow  would please Lord Krishna and will bestow Lord’s blessings on us,” the seer said.

Sharavu Raghavendra Shastri presided over the function. L.D.Ballal, President of Mangaluru Committee of Jain Milan was the chief guest. M.B.Puranik, VHP leader, Hithendra Kottari, President of Govanithashraya Trust, P Ananthakrishna Bhat, General Secretary of the Trust and others were present.
