Mangaluru : Errors galore in some sets of caste survey forms

Mangaluru, Apr 17, 2015: As per reliable reports, even five days after the social and educational survey (caste census) began, sets of forms have been found with missing questions and so on.

A resident of Jeppu, said out of 55 questions (5 pages), page number 2 (question number 14 to 23) was missing. Instead, page number 2 contained the same questions as that of page number 4 (question number 34 to 39). In another case, questions which were supposed to be printed on page number 2 (14 to 23) were printed on page number 4 and questions supposed to be printed on page number 4 (34 to 39) were printed on page number 2 . When contacted, MCC Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati said the issue has come to her notice and she has informed the authorities concerned. The census officials have been told to check the forms and in case of discrepancies, fresh forms may be got,  she said adding that there was no shortage of forms.
