Mangaluru : Duo arrested for obstructing cops

Mangaluru, Dec 22, 2018: Bunder Police have arrested two persons near Thotabengre on the charges of preventing cops from doing their duty.

The arrested are Vijith alias Shivarajkumar (26) of Ullal Mogaveerapatna and  Shravan alias Chanu (24) of Thota Bengrre.

It is said the accused  along with two others namely Ramith and Akash had abused  and  threatened cops who were  on patrolling duty near the Thotabengre government school at around 2.30 am on December 19.

The duo has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.  Both are rowdy sheeters. Vijith has two cases against him in Panambur station while Shravan has five cases in Ullal police station
